　　文中的misuse of donations就是指“捐款濫用”，也可以稱為improper allocation of funds。此次，紅十字會(huì)還被審計(jì)出了其它一些spending irregularities（違規(guī)支出）問題，再加上之前的網(wǎng)絡(luò)炫富女事件，無異于add fuel to the public’s anger（火上澆油），不僅hurt its image（有損形象），而且shatter public trust（瓦解了公眾信任）。
　　郭美美近日發(fā)消息道歉，稱經(jīng)理身份為杜撰，但她的boast online about her lavish lifestyle（網(wǎng)上炫富）行為給紅十字會(huì)造成了惡劣影響。“炫富”還可以用flaunt the considerable wealth來表示，例如While the girls try to make the cut, the guys get to flaunt their considerable wealth. （在女孩們?cè)噲D晉級(jí)的同時(shí)，男士們則可以炫耀他們的巨額財(cái)富。）
