　　這句話通常是指某事物含有兩種事情或物品最精華的部分，像「中西合璧」就可以算是這種情況之一。

　　住在洛杉磯，我可以享受兩種文化的精華。
　　B: Yeah. You have access to anything Asian, but you're still in the U.S.
　　是啊。既可以接觸所有亞洲的東西，又能繼續(xù)住在美國。
　　2. You know better than... 你早知道不可以...
　　這是一個常用的句子，當有人做了一件早該知道不可以做的事，結果發(fā)生了不好的后果，這時你就可以說這句話，相當于You know you shouldn't do....的意思。
　　A: You know better than to park there. You'll get a ticket.
　　你明明知道那里不可以停車。會被開罰單的。
　　B: What do you want me to do? There are no spaces anywhere else.
