Good evening, judges and fellow students:
I'm very pleased to be here to talk about my ideas. First, I'll introduce myself to you. My name is Chenlujin. I am 17 years old. I am from Class 82. Now I want to talk about the use of mobile phones among students.
Is it necessary for students to take mobile phones to schoolSome parents and students quite support this idea. They think it is convenient for them to contact each other. The other reason is they can afford a mobile phone. Of course , having a mobile phone does bring us some benefits, such as talking with friends, calling the police when they are in trouble, playing games and so on.
However, I think it's unnecessary for students to take mobile phones to school. This is because: First, some students become addicted to playing mobile phone games and read novels on mobile phones. Second, if students take their mobile phones to classroom, it can disturb the teacher and other students when the phones rings or they talk on the phones. Third, this is wasting money. I think it's unnecessary to spend some money on mobile phones. What's more, mobile phones can do harm to us.
In my opinion, students should not be allowed to take mobile phones to school. If they have to take mobile phone to school, they must make sure that mobile phones are powered off or they will be punished. In a word, our main task is to study. Using mobile phones should serve our study. I hope parents and students can understand this.
