1. Teaching objectives:
①Students can master the four skilled words (windy, rainy) and the three skilled words (snowy).
�、赟tudents can use the sentences to make up their own dialogues.
�、跾tudents can learn to take after their parents.

The four skilled words: rainy, windy.
The three skilled words: snowy.
3. Difficult points:
The sentences: How’s the weather today?
Put on your shirt.
4. Teaching procedure:
Step 1: Revision
1) Draw a thermometer on the blackboard. Invite four students to write the four words on the right place: hot, cold, warm, cool.
The other students spell the words together.
2) Use the computer to show weather. Let the students guess:
How’s the weather today?
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過熱身小游戲讓學(xué)生對(duì)舊知識(shí)進(jìn)行回憶，同時(shí)導(dǎo)入本課的新單詞。)
Step 2: Presentation
Teacher draws pictures on the blackboard. Students learn the new words: windy, rainy, snowy.
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過教師的簡(jiǎn)筆畫，學(xué)生的讀、拼、寫讓學(xué)生對(duì)新單詞有深刻的印象。)
Step 3: Look and say
Look at the video about the dialogue. Students listen and read the dialogue.
Teacher explains: Put on your shirt.
Students act out the dialogue in pairs.
After the show, students make up their own dialogues using the new sentences.
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖：學(xué)生先練習(xí)本課的對(duì)話，掌握本課的`知識(shí)，在此基礎(chǔ)之上創(chuàng)編新對(duì)話，進(jìn)一步理解和掌握本節(jié)課的重點(diǎn)句型。)
Step 4: Practice
1) Play a game: students take out their word cards. One student asks, the other guess. (Four students in one group)
Example: How’s the weather today?
2) doing the exercise on the exercise book.
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過小游戲再次調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的積極性，同時(shí)游戲和練習(xí)也進(jìn)一步鞏固了本課的重難點(diǎn)。)
Step 5: Summary
Summarize what we have learnt today.
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過小結(jié)的這個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)再次讓學(xué)生明確本課的重難點(diǎn)。)
5. Homework:
1) Recite the dialogue.
2) Preview the next lesson.
